The days are drenched in rich intention; from meaningful movement classes to transformative womens workshops - we dive into awakening shakti, empowered movement, deep connection and exploration of the themes and energies of the day. We indulge in sharing circles, time in nature, creative explorations, and evening workshops of ritual, movement, dance and magic.

Bab Zouina - a doorway to beauty
Created as a home, Bab Zouina (meaning “Beautiful Door” in Moroccan) has grown into a charming retreat facility.
Nestled in the foothills of Morocco's breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, Bab Zouina is a sanctuary where life slows to its natural rhythm. Surrounded by olive groves, fragrant gardens and sweeping mountain views, this peaceful haven invites you to soften, exhale and remember what it feels like to simply be.
Far from the noise of everyday life, each morning begins with birdsong, fresh mountain air and long, unhurried breakfasts beneath the Moroccan sun. Days unfold gently between movement, meaningful conversation, nourishing homemade meals and quiet moments of rest in nature's embrace.
Designed with warmth, beauty and intention, Bab Zouina feels less like a retreat venue and more like a home. From its handcrafted architecture and tranquil courtyards to its inviting spaces for gathering, every corner encourages connection - with yourself, with the land and with the women beside you.
For one sacred week, this mountain sanctuary becomes our home. A place to celebrate your radiance, awaken your senses and remember the joy of living fully.

Lovingly prepared meals everyday
We come together twice daily (at 10am & 6pm) to enjoy a delicious, home cooked, organic and nourishing meal prepared by the lovely kitchen team from Bab Zouina.
A light lunch will also be prepared for those who would like.
Many of the ingredients come from the gardens and land around, olive oil made on site.
There will always be tea / coffee and cacao available for you to prepare your own drinks throughout the day. Before morning practice we will provide some light snacks like fruits, yogurt and juice.

MEGARA
For over a decade, I have been devoted to the path of movement, embodiment and the feminine arts. With more than ten years of teaching experience, over 500 hours of trainings, advanced studies in embodied facilitation, and four years of leading transformational retreats around the world, my work is rooted in creating spaces where women feel deeply seen, safely held and profoundly alive.
Facilitating with heart driven intention, my approach gently weaves together the wisdom of the body, mind and spirit. Every offering is steeped in depth and devotion, balancing darkness with light, introspection with celebration, and healing with joy.
My own journey has taught me that transformation isn't found only in our descent into the shadows, but equally in our willingness to rise; to actively choose a life that feels fully lived. I believe the feminine is not something we need to become, but wisdom we remember. She lives within every part of us: the wild and the wise, the tender and the powerful, every facet of you.
It is the greatest honour to walk beside women as they return home to themselves.

The deposit is non-refundable - but it can be transferred to another Rise Shakti Immersion in future.
Remaining payment is due one month before the retreat commences and the whole payment is non-refundable after May 19th, 2027. (before Retreat) (unless we have arranged otherwise on payment plan)
